Create An Audience Style Guide For 10x Better AI Content
Publishing generic AI content is a waste of time. Prompting ChatGPT to write an article about a topic will give you a summary of everyone else’s thoughts on that topic.
The generic, soulless, or off-brand AI outputs won’t resonate with your target audience.
I’ve been using AI tools to brainstorm article ideas, create drafts, and edit content since 2023. I’ve spent 100s of hours working with AI to create interesting content that resonates with my target audience.
I don’t use AI to create to write Medium articles — but I use it to create a lot of boring content for other websites.
The AI-assisted content is not ready to copy, paste, and publish. It also requires multiple prompts and further editing. It still saves me 100s of hours every month.
The key to getting AI to produce decent content is providing as much context as possible.
If you use this prompt:
“Create a 7-day travel itinerary for a trip to Hawaii in June”
You’ll get a decent trip itinerary. But, the itinerary is just the average of what people enjoy in Hawaii. The ideal trip itineraries will look very different for the young couple on their honeymoon, the family of 5, and the single retired man.
